Make Money With Beautiful.ai: A Deck Design Service

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes a score. How this works.

The realistic way to make money with Beautiful.ai is a deck-design service: a client hands you rough notes or a messy draft, and you return a clean, on-brand sales or pitch deck. Fiverr gigs I checked on 20 October 2026 charge $15 to $50 for a basic 5- to 10-slide PowerPoint and $290 for a premium 10-slide package, and agency SlideGenius puts a 15- to 20-slide corporate deck at $800 to $3,000. Nobody pays for the software. They pay for the story, the checked numbers and a deck that looks like their brand.

Which ways of earning with Beautiful.ai are realistic?

Four hold up. Selling templates doesn’t, for licence reasons covered further down.

How do you run a deck-redesign service with Beautiful.ai?

You take the client’s content, rebuild it inside Beautiful.ai’s Smart Slide layouts with their brand theme, and deliver a link, a PowerPoint file or a PDF. The tool handles alignment; your job is structure, wording and accuracy.

Delivery, one deck at a time

  • Agree the scope in writing: slide count, deadline, revision rounds, brand files and the delivery format.
  • Settle whose account the deck lives in. The cleanest option is the client’s own Pro or Team account with you invited; if you work in yours, ask support@beautiful.ai in writing whether client deliverables fit section 2.2 of the Terms.
  • Set up the theme first: colours, fonts and logo, so every slide inherits them.
  • Attach the client’s draft to Create with AI, then fix the outline before you generate anything.
  • Rewrite the copy, check every figure against the client’s source, and swap generic images for real product photos.
  • If they’ll present in PowerPoint, export and review the .pptx; animations and audio don’t carry over.

Finding the first clients

Fiverr pays sellers 80% of each cleared order, and Upwork’s freelancer fee runs from 0% to 15% per contract. Outside the marketplaces, the best prospects present often: consultants, coaches, agencies running webinars and B2B sales teams. Offer to rebuild three slides of a deck they already use, privately, so they can compare.

What could two client decks a month add up to?

Worked example: two 10-slide decks

These are examples, not income claims. Say you sell two 10-slide sales decks a month at $200 each, between the $50 and $290 Fiverr packages above. That is $400.

Assume four hours per deck for outline, copy, build and one revision; that is my assumption, not a published figure, so eight hours in all. Take off $14.50 for a month of annual Pro and you keep $385.50, or $48.19 an hour.

Pay $45 for a month-to-month Pro instead and the month is worth $355, or $44.38 an hour. Sell the same two decks through Fiverr, which keeps 20%, and $320 minus $14.50 leaves $305.50, or $38.19 an hour.

Are pitch decks and retainers worth adding?

Pitch decks pay more because the client is buying a narrative for investors, not tidy slides. SlideGenius’s $800 to $3,000 range for a corporate deck shows the ceiling, but expect to compete with designers who also write. Retainers suit sales teams that update the same deck every month; quote hourly at first, and ask the client to buy a Team plan so the shared themes and asset library belong to them.

The affiliate program is open by application through PartnerStack. Commission is 30% on Pro and 15% on annual Team, calculated on net revenue, paid only on the first year of an annual plan or the first month of a monthly one, and released 30 days after the subscription starts. On a $174 Pro year that is at most $52.20 before deductions.

Which rules can trip you up?

  • Beautiful.ai’s Terms. Section 2.2 limits the licence to “internal business or personal, non-commercial purposes”, section 2.4(c) bans reselling or sublicensing the service, and section 3.1 bars anyone but authorised users from your account. Never hand a client your login.
  • Ownership of layouts. Under section 5.2 the client’s content is theirs, but output based on Beautiful.ai’s materials stays Beautiful.ai’s. That is why templates aren’t a product, and why a client who wants a file they fully control should get the .pptx.
  • Confidential material. The help center says inputs are never used to train its AI models; still check the client’s NDA allows uploading their figures to a cloud tool.
  • Testimonials in client decks. The FTC’s rule on fake reviews and testimonials took effect on 21 October 2024, with penalties of up to $51,744 per violation. Don’t write invented customer quotes into a sales deck, however often clients ask for “placeholder” ones.
  • Fiverr’s AI guidelines. You don’t have to list every tool, but if a client asks for non-AI work you must disclose your workflow.
  • Affiliate rules. No bidding on Beautiful.ai brand terms, no paid ads without written approval, and customer discounts capped at 15% unless approved. Disclose the link clearly.

Mistakes I’d avoid

  • Letting the trial roll into a full annual charge before you have a paying client.
  • Staying on $45 monthly billing for more than four months, when annual is cheaper.
  • Promising animated or narrated slides that will be exported to PowerPoint.
  • Generating slides before the outline is right, then fixing structure one slide at a time.

Is this side business for you?

You’ll likely enjoy it if you can turn a jumble of notes into a clear argument, you’re fussy about consistent fonts and numbers, and you don’t mind short deadlines before a client’s big meeting.

Look at something else if you want artistic freedom on every slide, you dislike rewriting other people’s copy, or you were hoping the AI would do the thinking.

Questions about earning with Beautiful.ai

Can you make money with Beautiful.ai?

Yes, but indirectly. Clients pay for well-built sales and pitch decks, and Beautiful.ai is one way to make them faster; its affiliate program is the other route if you already have an audience.

How much should I charge for a 10-slide deck?

Somewhere between $50 and $290 is the Fiverr range I found for 10-slide PowerPoint gigs on 20 October 2026. Agency SlideGenius quotes $800 to $3,000 for a 15- to 20-slide corporate deck, so strategy and copywriting push the price up fast.

Can I use Beautiful.ai for client work?

Probably, but the Terms don’t say so directly. Section 2.2 licenses use for internal business or personal purposes and section 2.4(c) bans reselling the service, so the cleanest setup is the client’s own account with you invited, or written confirmation from support@beautiful.ai.

Does Beautiful.ai have an affiliate program?

Yes. It runs on PartnerStack by application and pays 30% on Pro and 15% on annual Team, on the first year of annual plans or the first month of monthly plans, paid 30 days after the subscription starts.

Can I sell Beautiful.ai templates?

No, not as a product of their own. Section 2.4(c) bars distributing or sublicensing the service, and section 5.2 keeps output based on Beautiful.ai’s materials, such as its layouts, as Beautiful.ai’s.

These figures are examples, not income claims, and nothing here is legal advice. I don’t earn a commission from Beautiful.ai; links are plain.
